Choose Your Grade!
With schools closing across the country, it’s more important now than ever to make sure you’re little one doesn’t fall behind. Core Reading Journey provides your child with a real classroom experience by utilizing a combination of interactive lessons, guided practice, independent practice, and continued learning tools. These lessons will stimulate learning and ensure your child is building the skills necessary for success in school and beyond.
Since you only purchase one lesson at a time, you can move at your own pace and choose which lessons you want. This is not a subscription service, and you don’t have to buy the entire package up front. Lessons will be added weekly, and as the menu grows so does your options to choose the lessons that fit your needs.
The resources used in these lessons are used by over 100,000 real teachers across the country. Over the last decade, these teachers have provided constant feedback regarding the quality and effectiveness of each resource, which allows us to continue to hone them to ensure they are perfectly fit for the optimal learning experience.
All included reading passages accompany a certified Lexile level, which ensures the text complexity of each passage is consistent with school expectations and reading development experts. Lexile levels also allow you to provide your little one with texts that are right for their own reading level. You can learn more about Lexile measures here.
I wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. I taught various elementary grades in Rhode Island and Florida, moving from upper elementary (4th & 5th) to lower elementary (2nd). After moving to Florida, I taught in a Title I school for eight years. I earned Teacher of the Year in my final year of teaching and was a top 15 finalist in one of the largest school districts in the country.
As a teacher, I struggled to find the right resources for my students and created many of the resources that I used in the classroom. I loved teaching. I loved the students and being in the classroom. But after hearing from so many teachers that they also needed resources, I decided to start my own education resource business in 2012 with the goal of creating effective skill focused resources for teachers.
My education resources are trusted by over 100,000 teachers across the country. Now, I am offering learn at home lessons and resources to help parents like you and children like yours. Whether your little learner needs a little extra help or you’re looking to give your child a strong reading foundation – I know that you will find these lessons and resources valuable, engaging, and effective.
