Students will read a nonfiction biography, watch videos, engage in read alouds with comprehension and critical thinking questions, learn about the person’s mission, and reflect on a quote the changer maker said. Students will also enjoy watching inspirational videos and songs relating to the theme. They will come up with a cause that is meaningful to them and draft a plan to make change.

 

⭐ This unit is cross curricular and integrates reading comprehension, social studies, and writing.
