Description
Author’s Purpose in Nonfiction – RI.2.6
⭐️These 15 digital and printable Lexile® leveled close reading comprehension passages with standards-based questions are perfect for 2nd graders to learn the author’s purpose skills. Printable PDF & Digital Google Slides versions make this resource perfect for classroom and distance learning. Students learn to identify the purpose of a nonfiction text, including what the author wants to answer, explain, or describe.
⭐️If you do not use Common Core, this packet is still perfect for teaching the author’s purpose. Aligns with many state-specific standards, including TEKS and VA SOL.
⭐️The printable PDF and digital versions are both included with this product for classroom and distance learning needs. The digital version is compatible with Google Drive and Google Slides and can be downloaded from Google Slides into PowerPoint.
⭐️The Digital version saves paper, but still requires teachers to correct student responses.
