It was really tricky to get set up and to continue once started, since we do not have 1-1 devices.

I loved that this resource kept them working and trying to find the right answers.
Lori P. –
I love how you make this content in 3 different ways. My kids actually asked for the print version this time… but I love them all!

This resource is absolutely fantastic! It’s so well-designed, versatile, and easy to use. I love how it can be adapted for different lessons and learning styles, which makes it a perfect fit for my classroom. I’ve tried many other materials before, but I’m so happy to have finally found the perfect resource that truly meets my students’ needs. Highly recommend!

This resource is an absolute gem! It’s clear, well-organized, and super engaging for students. The layout made it easy for me to prep quickly, and my students stayed focused the entire time. I especially loved how it broke down challenging concepts into manageable chunks—perfect for reinforcing key skills. Whether you’re reviewing or introducing a topic for the first time, this resource is a game-changer. Highly recommend to any math teacher looking for something both effective and student-friendly!

Education Depot –
Great resource for my classroom and students. It can be used for whole group or small group. Excellent product!
Margaret B K. –
My student enjoyed using this resource. Since she tends to guess at answers, having the multiple choice answers in the web-based version proved to be a problem. I wish the printed version had the problems, particularly money and time problems shown in larger pictures.
Shany D. –
SO MUCH FUN! This was so engaging and I love that it doesn’t tell the kids which answer was wrong, they need to figure it out. Take a bit of time, but they loved it!
Samara M. –
This was awesome! My students loved it. They were very engaged and didn’t realize they were working.

The Happy Hammerheads –
I LOVE this resource! My students had so much fun working through this on St. Patrick’s Day. It was the perfect mix of review and challenge; and my kiddos were motivated to use their most efficient problem-solving skills in order to escape! It was not only a fun activity but a meaningful one as well!

This was an amazing resource to use for my math extension group. The kids did not want to stop working on the escape. I love MagiCore resources.
Margaret E. –
My students worked with partners on the Escape Room. For 2nd graders, it took some perseverance to work through. For some slides, I had to give hints to help them through–fun resource and very creative!
Meghan J. –
Very well-made resource!
Pretty Little Pre-K –
I loved this activity! My students were SO excited to do this escape room. They worked hard and stayed focus on the math the entire time. I wish I had planned for two days for this (or longer math time) because the students didn’t want it to end. It was a great way to review skills.
Halley C. –
This is a great additional resource in my classroom.
Katelynn C. –
I used for a few resource room groups when teaching virtually. The students were really engaged and enjoyed the problem solving aspect of it. It felt like a fun game to them. Thank you.

My students went nuts for this!!! It was fun for them and for me!!
Amanda H. –
Overall, my students found this activity very engaging, and they were excited to “escape”. The videos that could be viewed at the end of each task were exciting for the kids. If you do this activity, plan for a large chunk of time of your day to be used up, or do one task a day.
Ashley C. –
this is great!
Andrea Kumm –
A little challenging for the kids, but very fun!
Marybeth S. –
Great resource!
Amy D. –
This was a really cool resource. Very engaging. However, it was a little difficult for my students to navigate on the computer. Having to switch tabs and use the spreadsheet for answers was too confusing for many. I would use still, but without lots of previous computer skills, this was too difficult for 2nd grade. Having the print copy makes this a useful resource.

Hi Amy. Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are sorry to hear that it was a bit of a struggle. Some classrooms prefer the printable so that computer savviness isn’t a concern. We are glad to hear that it was useful for you!
Other classrooms have found that breaking the class up into groups or dedicating 1 student to be the “decoder” can help reduce confusion and frustration for those who may not be comfortable with switching tabs and using various programs.

I found myself needing to add to my daily slides for my virtual learning class and this was a perfect, easy thing to add fun as they reviewed for our end-of-unit assessment.
Sara S. –
The students were engaged and enjoyed this activity.
Nanette S. –
My students love this escape room. We are hybrid with part of the class two days a week, and distance learning on Fridays. They happily completed all problems for each room. We are doing this over several days, and they absolutely love the videos with the escape room. I bought it and used it the next day.
Melissa Kehoe –
My students LOVED this! I split it into two days, 2 tasks one day, 2 the next. The second day, it was a “when will we finish our escape room?” It was nice to see how different students worked or did not work well together too. I was very impressed with the entire product and I am already looking for our next one. I did a mix of digital and print. The prep for it was very easy and quick and the students were so engaged in the short videos after finding clues. AMAZING product! Worth every penny and then some! Thanks for a rockstar math lesson!!
Christi H. –
Our 7yo enjoyed this activity. Just wish it had a little more meat to the problems, or not have the multiple choice answers. She solved some of them and then used process of elimination to fill in the rest.
Melinda A. –
My students loved using this resource!! They were very engaged during the activity and asked to do more like it. GREAT resource!!
