I absolutely love all Magicore Activities resources and cannot recommend them enough! This Thanksgiving Day Parade Escape Room was a huge hit in my classroom. My students were completely engaged from start to finish and couldn’t wait to solve each challenge to keep the parade moving.
The storyline was creative and fun, while the reading passages and comprehension questions provided meaningful academic practice. I especially loved how easy it was to implement—just press play and students are instantly immersed in the adventure. The audio support, self-checking features, and interactive elements kept every student involved and on task.
This is the perfect resource for those busy days before Thanksgiving when you want students engaged in rigorous learning without feeling like they’re doing traditional schoolwork. Another fantastic Magicore Activities resource!

I used this with both of my 4th grade ELA classes. One class typically requires more support with their learning, while the other is more independent with meeting grade level standards. My independent class was able to successfully complete this assignment with 100% completion. My other section was unable to complete this, even with partnerships and support offered. This assignment seems great for 4th graders who are currently on or above grade level, as it was very engaging for my class with stronger ability!

  38. Bailey M. –
