This was really long and a times felt tedious to my students. I was hoping for something fun to do before break and this was not it. My students were bored with this. It was nicely put together but just lacking engaging opportunities.

I LOVED this!!! The virtual escape room was THRILLING for my kids and loved that they could have it read aloud to them if they needed. It was a little challenging, but a lot of my readers are under level, and it worked out since it took them a long time to get through!

A fantastic resource for the two days leading up to Thanksgiving break! I used the interactive read aloud whole-group and the other activities were available as fast finishers. I even used the field trip as time to fill in if needed. The students absolutely LOVED the field trip, and I found having the videos ready for them was perfect. Definitely looking for more to have available for those that complete work early.

My students had a wonderful learning experience using these resources. Many didn’t know about the parade which shocked me. The Webscape was a little difficult for my 2nd graders. But, they liked when they got the right answers and could get the icon for their map. Overall, I will use this again and again!
Makayla B. –
My students used this for Fun Friday. It expanded their horizons and knowledge and made it enjoyable! The only thing I had trouble with was I embedded the videos as suggested but when students used it, it went to YouTube and not just the video.
jonathan –
Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Makayla. We are sorry to hear you had trouble with the embedding! This should work properly in Google Slides, but it could be impacted by browser settings or even extensions/add-ons your school district may have enforced that can interfere with Google’s playback features. You may want to reach out to your IT team for assistance if that is the case.
I hope this helps!
