This resource is really awesome! The kids like learning about different cultures and people. Please make more of these. I would love to see a Day in the Life for a South American and Australian as well. It would be super compatible with a continents units.

I wanted to find something to help my students connect with other cultures and this was perfect. I love that it was a personal account and students could really go through a day with each of these children and understand a bit more about their lives. This was a great way to teach the concept in a way that didn’t rely on stereotypes and allow students to connect to others.

This is a great supplemental resource for small groups!
Katie F. –
This is a great resource! I just started using it with my ELL class. They’re excited about learning about other cultures, as well as having their peers learn about their own culture.
Just wondering if there are any plans to create more texts about other countries. I’d love to also purchase texts about China, South Korea, Turkey, Russia, Israel, and Japan (so the other cultural groups in my class feel represented), as well as any other countries you create.
Thanks for creating this great guided reading package.
