    I have used this resource to teach the decomposing strategy for 2nd and 3rd grade math. I love the way that everything is broken down for the learner very explicitly for decomposing to add 2-digit numbers. I agree with a previous reviewer; it would be WONDERFUL to have the same problem solving blanks on the practice pages for adding 3-digit numbers as opposed to having white space to show decomposing. This is such a great resource for giving 2nd and 3rd grade students extra practice with the decomposing strategy for addition!

    This is great for 2-digit. I wish that the 3 digit problems were more broken down like you started with the 2-digit. I’m using it for 3rd graders so we need more of the scaffolded 3-digit instead of having just the one big box to type everything in. They need the boxes to decompose the addends for 3 digit as well. It is so hard to find resources that show the decomposing method of addition and subtraction. Thanks for this!!
