  3. Amy S. –

My students enjoyed using this resource to learn more about Day of the Dead! Sadly, my district blocks Seesaw for students so they couldn’t record their responses, but it was still a valuable experience for them. I look forward to using it for years to come.

  4. kevin M. –

This was a great resource! My students found this helpful.

  5. Heather W. –

I loved that this was ready go. The only thing I needed to do before posting it in Google classroom was to insert some of the videos (the links were included). The graphics are beautiful and students enjoyed working their way throught videos and activities.

  6. Andrea Lydon –

I liked the fact that there were mostly videos instead of reading, because it seemed to engage my students more. I recommend going through the entire show before assigning it, just because there are a few things that may be a little too personal (one slide asked about people close to you who have died, which I totally get is the whole POINT of the holiday but I had a few students who had recently lost parents and didn’t want to touch that with a ten foot pole). Overall I love this resource and will absolutely be using it in the future.

  15. Rodríguez Spanish Toolbox –

I have been unable to figure out how I will be able to use it with my students as I need it to be in Spanish for my students in the Dual Language program.

Update: Thank you for your reply! I was just hoping to get an editable version of the resource.

Hi Jenna. I am confused by your two-star review. Nowhere does it say this resource is in Spanish. The previews and images clearly show this resource is in English. The vast majority of TPT resources are in English since it is an American website. I’d appreciate it if you’d update your review and rating to reflect the resource, as this rating does not reflect the resource but your misunderstanding.

I love that I am able to take my students on a virtual field trip. I am glad I was able to print this out for them if they chose to. The colors and animations are great too with alot of detail.

For first grade I mostly projected, read, and discussed the slides. When I taught second grade they were better able to navigate the slides themselves. I shared the presentation and we we went over each slide and then they explored and manipulated them. Great resource to teach another culture’s celebrations.
